The SCRD continues to work with all parties involved with the repairs of the Keats Landing dock to accommodate local (ferry/water transport) service to Keats Landing. The following service will be available from KONA / Stormaway for the next several days. A further update will be provided next week.

Update on Monday December 8
The SCRD has been working to determine whether ferry service to Keats Landing can continue throughout the construction period. We are in ongoing communication with KONA / Stormaway to assess what service levels are feasible during this time.
At this time, ferry sailings will continue to operate to Keats Landing tomorrow, December 9, except for the 11:30 a.m. sailing.
The SCRD is working to develop a longer-term solution, and a further update will be provided tomorrow (Tuesday).
Update on Saturday December 6.
Please note that Stormaway ferry service will be available at Keats Landing dock on Monday December 8.
A further update will be provided on Monday via the SCRD Website and Facebook Page on the status of the Stormaway service for the rest of week.
Work will begin next week on repairs to the Keats Landing Dock.
Contractors will be on site, at the dock on Monday, December 8 and will be completing several tasks throughout the week. This includes maintenance, replacement and repairs to the guard rails, deck boards, flashing and cross braces.
It is anticipated that these repairs will be completed by the end of the week (December 12). During this time, the dock will be closed for use to the general public. Eastbourne dock is available as an alternative for the community.
Additional structural repairs are scheduled to follow this initial work, which will allow vehicle access to the dock to be restored. Further details about this phase will be shared on the SCRD’s website and Facebook Page as they become available.
